Do not assume that. LeanLens offers photo interpretation and training suggestions; verify separately where you will record completed sets.
Body check-in · training handoff
Connect a body check-in to the right training workflow
A scan is useful only if its visible focus becomes a plan you can perform, record and revisit. Compare that handoff rather than an AI label.
Compare the actual decision

| Product | Check-in → plan | Workout record → later review | Best fit / unresolved gate |
|---|---|---|---|
| Thelo | Official site describes a guided body check-in feeding a personal week. | Site shows guided sessions, exercise swaps, set logging and later progress. | Closest described end-to-end handoff; confirm availability and paid gates in your account. |
| FitnessAI BodyScan | BodyScan feature is promoted inside FitnessAI. | The supplied BodyScan page does not establish a direct scan-to-specific-session or logging handoff. | Ask for a live result-to-plan example before treating the connection as verified. |
| AbsMaxx | Optional photo gives six abs-zone scores; a questionnaire can also start a core plan. | Official features describe sets/reps, session history and volume. | Core-focused routine; illustrative six-pack preview is not a forecast. |
| LeanLens + a separate workout log | Photo result can inform a training focus. | Record completed work in a tool that actually supports logging, then compare later. | Modular route when interpretation matters; no claim that LeanLens ships a full workout logger. |

A four-step handoff you can actually audit
Illustrative task: note a visible upper-back focus in a check-in, choose a realistic training emphasis, record the completed session, then compare later photos under similar conditions. A photo alone cannot prove strength gain or recovery.
- Check-in: record the visible observation and its uncertainty, not a diagnosis.
- Plan: choose exercises, available equipment, frequency and progression target.
- Workout record: log what you actually completed, including modifications.
- Later check-in: compare consistent photos alongside the session record; do not infer causation from appearance alone.
Make the next choice useful
Start with the output you will actually use, then check the current plan, device and data terms before uploading personal photos. Vendor descriptions below are dated public claims; we did not test every app or rank measurement accuracy.
Common questions
It can suggest an emphasis, but the plan must account for goals, equipment, ability, recovery and actual training records.
