A portable record
Download a measurement-tracking template you can actually use
Download a blank CSV, or print the worksheet below. Record the landmark, unit and conditions so your next check-in has a fair comparison.
| Date | Site | Landmark | Reading | Unit | Photo index | Conditions / notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Method note: these are explanatory examples and blank worksheets. They do not diagnose health, calculate tissue composition, or send entered information to LeanLens. Review the photo privacy guide before starting a scan.
Choose a small set of measurements
You do not need to measure everything. Pick the sites relevant to your goal and use one written landmark definition for each. A waist reading at the navel and one at the narrowest point belong in separate series.
- Choose a site and write the exact landmark in the template before the first reading.
- Choose centimeters or inches and record the unit on every row. Do not mix units within a series.
- Record a date and the conditions that could affect comparison, such as a different tape, posture or time of day.
- Keep a private photo index only if useful: record your own local reference, not an upload link or filename you need to share.
Use the record without an account
The CSV is a plain file you can open in a spreadsheet and keep wherever you choose. Its rows are blank; the page does not upload or save what you write. Print the worksheet for an offline log.

Common questions
No. A circumference is a tape measurement around a site. It does not separate fat, muscle and other tissue.
